Mock Draft
1) Detroit Lions - Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia
They have plenty of 1st day selections in this draft. I've gone back and forth on Smith or Stafford, Stafford or Smith. I know the Lions desperately need a QB and maybe that will be the ultimate direction they go especially with Flacco and Ryan doing so well last year. But if they look at the Dolphins and see they picked up Jake Long and he solidified that Oline that helped them to the playoffs. Picking an Olineman will save them so much money vs them picking up a QB at the #1 spot. But it will probably come down to who they can get signed before the actual draft....another page from the Big Bill book.
2) St. Louis Rams - Jason Smith, OT, Baylor
He is a legit franchise OT and will anchor the Rams Oline on the left side for years to come.
3) Kansas City Chiefs - Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest
He’s a do-it-all athlete who should give KC an immediate playmaker at OLB.
4) Seattle Seahawks - Mark Sanchez, QB, USC

5) Cleveland Browns - Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech

6) Cincinnati Bengals - Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia
Where do we start with this team? A team's core is the two lines. You dominate those and you getting somewhere quick.
7) Oakland Raiders - Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri
They think this will complete the trifecta of young skill position players.
8) Jacksonville Jaguars - Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss
No Comments
9) Green Bay Packers - B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College
Could very well be their first NT in the Packers transition to the 3-4 defense for Dom Capers.
10) San Francisco 49ers - Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio St.
11) Buffalo Bills - Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas
They think their offense is set (assuming Lynch stays out of trouble), they need a pass rusher off the edge.
12) Denver Broncos - Tyson Jackson, DE, L.S.U.

13) Washington Redskins - Andre Smith, OT, Alabama
Will Jason Campbell pull a Cutler on the Redskins and throw a fit? Not likely.... I don't think Zorn is too high on Campbell but he tries to help him out best he can with the pick of Andre Smith.
14) New Orleans Saints - Vontae Davis, CB, Illinois
No Comments
15) Houston Texans - Brian Cushing, OLB, USC
No Comments
16) San Diego Chargers - Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC
Some concern is out there about Rey's ability to be a 3 down LB. The Chargers are the perfect team to specialize a position for him.

19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Everette Brown, DE, Florida St.

20) Detroit Lions - James Laurinaitis, ILB, Ohio St.
Laurinaitis should help solidify the middle of that Lions defense. He'll fit well next to Ernie Simms.
21) Philadelphia Eagles - Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia
Westbrook is an excellent RB but he does get hurt alot. Buckhalter is gone so they need someone who can step in and do well.
22) Minnesota Vikings - Alex Mack, C, California
Let's feed the monster and give AD a top notch center to lead his offensive line.
23) New England Patriots - Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee
No Comments
24) Atlanta Falcons - Percy Harvin, WR, Florida
No Comments
25) Miami Dolphins - Aaron Maybin, DE, Penn St.
26) Baltimore Ravens - Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland
The Ravens give Flaco a legit deep threat with Darrius.
27) Indianapolis Colts - Peria Jerry, DT, Ole Miss
The Colts didn't do well in stopping the run last year. They were ranked 24th in the league actually. Peria Jerry will provide good run stopping support on the Dline. Football is in his family.
28) Buffalo Bills - William Beatty, OT, Connecticut
No Comments
29) New York Giants - Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina
Plaxico...Plaxico...Plaxico...... you idiot!
30) Tennessee Titans - Brian Robiskie, WR, Ohio St.
Can the Titans please get a true #1 WR? They haven't had one since Mason was in his prime. Robiskie can fill that spot for them.
31) Arizona Cardinals - Chris Wells, RB, Ohio St.
Edgerrin James isn't gettig any younger. Hightower is a nice piece but not a full time RB. Wells will grow into the primary RB role in Arizona as James is faded out.
32) Pittsburgh Steelers - Eben Britton, OT, Arizona
They need to keep pressure off of Big Ben. He's been hit too much the past 2 seasons.
